GATE 2011 Notification

Graduate Apptitute Test in Engineering conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Technology for M.E and M.tech Admissions for the year 2011 has been anounced.This exam is the basic qualification for the entry into IIT's,NIT's and other private colleges for Post Graduation.This year the responsibility has been given to IIT,Madras.The sale of Application Form / Online Application will commence on September 21, 2010.
The online GATE 2011 examination will be held on January 30, 2011 and offline examination will be conducted on February 13, 2011.

Importane dates:
The Online Application Form submission will start on September 21, 2010 (09:00 Hrs onwards).
Last date for issue of Information Brochure and Application Form at Bank Counters: October 27, 2010.
Last date for issue of Information Brochure and Application Form at zonal GATE office counters: October 29, 2010.
Last date for Submission of Online Application Form (website closure): October 27, 2010 (18:00 Hrs).
Last date for the Receipt of completed Offline/Online Application Form at the respective zonal GATE Office: November 02, 2010.

Date for reporting the non-receipt of admit cards for ONLINE examination papers: January 20, 2011.
Last date for reporting the non-receipt of admit cards for OFFLINE examination papers: January 31, 2011.

GATE 2011 Online Examination (Papers: AE and MN): January 30, 2011 (14:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs).
GATE 2011 Offline Examination (Papers: AR, BT, CE, CH, CS, ME, PH and PI): February 13, 2011 (09:00 Hrs to 12:00 Hrs).
GATE 2011 Offline Examination (Papers: AG, CY, EC, EE, IN, MA, MT, XE and XL): February 13, 2011 (14:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs).
The GATE 2011 result will be announced March 15, 2011 (10:00 Hrs).

The Online registration has begun from 18-8-2010, and the last date for applying is 07-09-2010. The written test will be held on 28-11-2010.
